It exists because those four categories are described badly almost everywhere else — flattened into scores, buried under sponsored placements, or written by someone who has clearly never looked at the building.

What the site does

It describes properties. Each entry covers what the building is, how it is planned, what the surroundings are like and what distinguishes it from the others in its category. The writing is deliberately general where specifics would need constant maintenance: opening hours, rates, room counts and seasonal schedules change, and an index that pretends otherwise is worse than one that stays quiet.

What it does not do

• It does not take bookings, hold availability or process payments.
• It does not publish star ratings, review scores or guest testimonials.
• It does not accept payment for inclusion, position or wording.
• It does not present itself as a local guide to any one country. The index is deliberately geo-neutral.

On the casino category

The four casino hotels listed here are treated as hotels that contain a licensed gaming floor among their facilities. The entries describe the accommodation, the setting and the wider property. This site does not operate any form of gaming, does not link to gambling services, and takes no position on whether anyone should use the gaming floors it mentions.

Corrections

If an entry describes something that is no longer true — a closed restaurant, a changed use, a property that no longer operates — the contact page explains how to say so. Corrections are made by rewriting the entry, not by appending a note to it.
